Gilt Development (GDU) Supervisor - Iowa Select Farms is seeking a Gilt Development Superviser for farm in North Central Iowa near Iowa Falls. This person will be responsible for the all aspects of gilt row out and selection.  Primary duties include the daily supervision of farms, including animal care, gilt selection, employee training, record keeping and supply management. Qualified candidates must be able to manage people, be highly organized, dependable and detail oriented. Consistency and punctuality is a must. At least 5 years of related experience in sow farm or gilt development management is needed in ordered to be considered for this position. Sow Farm Manager - Iowa Select Farms is seeking an experienced sow farm manager for a farm in South Central Iowa near Murray.  This person will be responsible for the daily care of the sow unit, including record keeping and ordering supplies.  Qualified candidates must be able to manage a staff of at least 12 employees, be highly organized, dependable and detail oriented.  Consistency and punctuality is a must.  At least 3 years of experience in prior sow farm management is needed in ordered to be qualified for this position. If you are interested in applying for this position click here. Livestock Transport Driver - Iowa Select Farms is seeking full-time Livestock Transport Drivers based out of our Iowa Falls location. This position will be responsible to transport animals from farm-to-farm or from a farm to a market destination. Short, local hauls – back home nearly every night and on weekends. Duties include loading and unloading of truck; however drivers do not enter the buildings. Previous livestock hauling experience is desired, a CDL is required. Contract Haulers/Owner-Operators - Iowa Select Farms is seeking Contract Haulers and Owner-Operators to transport swine from locations throughout Iowa. These haulers will be responsible to transport animals from a modern swine farm to a market destination in central Iowa or SW Minnesota. Duties include loading and unloading of truck; however drivers do not enter the buildings. Maintenance Supervisor -  Iowa Select Farms is seeking a skilled individual to supervise our Repairs & Maintenance team in south-central Iowa.  This position is responsible for supervising the maintenance staff, coordinating and prioritizing maintenance work orders, assisting in budgeting, scheduling site visits and completing maintenance and repairs of swine facilities and equipment as necessary.  Applicants must have a good driving record and experience with the supervision of people as well as the repair and maintenance of agricultural buildings to be considered for this position.  If you are interested in applying for this position click here.  Current employees will be given first consideration and should request and Internal Application from the HR Department.

Environmental Services Manager -  Iowa Select Farms is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Manager position based out of our Iowa Falls location.  This position will be responsible to ensure that records are accurately kept, management plans are filed accordingly, custom applicators are supplied with the necessary information needed to apply the nutrient.  The Environmental Services Manager must ensure that Iowa Select Farms is compliant with all regulations regarding, use, storage, and application of manure.  This person must be a self-starter and able to schedule tasks; thus, they must have initiative, organazation, and dependability.  This position requires the manager to work closely with suppliers, independent contractors, production staff and other employees, so teamwork and effective communication skills are also very important.  Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor's Degree in an agriculture related field or significant experiennce and understanding of manure application and overall management practices.  If you are interested in applying for this position click here.

Sow Farm Technician - Full-time Sow Farm Technician positions in our north-central and south-central Iowa locations. This person will be responsible to provide daily care to sows and piglets in either the farrowing or breeding departments of a modern swine farm. This person will be part of a team working with animals and conducting light facility repair and maintenance. Experience with livestock production is preferred, but not required to be considered for this position.
