This person will assist the Feeder Pig Placement Specialist in working with independent contractors and production staff to improve pig care and manage time more efficiently during the period when new pigs are placed. Swine Facility Maintenance Technician - Iowa Select Farms is seeking full-time Maintenance Technicians for general repair and maintenance of swine facilities in north-central Iowa. The successful candidate must have a clean driving record, work with little or no supervision and possess basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing and welding skills. The position will be responsible for the maintenance of modern sow or finishing farms in a given geographical area. Livestock Transport Driver – Iowa Select Farms is seeking full-time Livestock Transport Drivers based out of our Iowa Falls location. This position will be responsible to transport animals from farm-to-farm or from a farm to a market destination. Short, local hauls – back home nearly every night and on weekends. Duties include loading and unloading of truck; however drivers do not enter the buildings. Previous livestock hauling experience is desired, a CDL is required. Sow Farm Technician - Full-time Sow Farm Technician positions in our north-central and south-central Iowa locations. This person will be responsible to provide daily care to sows and piglets in either the farrowing or breeding departments of a modern swine farm. This person will be part of a team working with animals and conducting light facility repair and maintenance.
