Fellowship, football and friendship... does it get any better than that on a Thursday night? Although it didn't result in the Cyclone victory that we were hoping for, we had a blast at the Iowa State game last night with members of our management team!
After a day of collaborating on 2018 production goals, hearing success stories from managers on positive barn cultures, breeding projects, new site startups and celebrating production and safety achievements at our quarterly Production Management Meeting, we headed to the parking lot of the Jeff and Deb Hansen Ag Student Learning Center parking lot for a fun-filled tailgate before the game.
And what's a successful tailgate without a spread of delicious food (ok, and maybe some ice-cold drinks...)? Thanks to our friends at TechMix, we were treated to multiple pork-themed meals yesterday including pork loin, pulled pork, brats, burgers and even candied bacon!
Thanks to all of our supervisors, managers, specialists and farm teams that came to the game and meeting yesterday. We're looking forward to seeing all that everyone accomplishes yet in 2017!
