The second annual Back-to-School Bash at Children's Cancer Connection's Hansen Home for Hope is in the books. Organized by employees of Iowa Select Farms and funded by the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation, the Bash is a fun-filled evening of "classes" for the kiddos that kicks off with a picnic dinner and ends with grabbing free school supplies.
This year, over 60 kids decorated pencil cases, made bead bracelets and crafted bookbag tags all before lining up to carefully select school supplies like crayons, paper, glue and scissors.
The Back to School Bash is one of several events and programs organized through our partnership with Children's Cancer Connection, an organization that serves over 500 families across Iowa.
