It’s a simple wooden bench—doesn’t seem like some fancy technology. But most things that can make you better are simple, like push-ups, sit-ups and running shoes.
Speaking of shoes…Dr. Katie gives insight into why the slide-your-shoes-off-without-touching-them-and-swing-around drill works.
She says the way in which our employees enter the barn is extremely important, and those shoes — tennis, flip flops, or boots—have dirt on the bottom that can carry PRRS or PEDv virus. “ So, if someone isn’t benching, they aren’t beastin' ,” she says.
Here's the drill — Everyone has to bench in. Now, booties are a different story. If you work at the farm and only travel from home to the farm, you do not need to wear booties. If you visit multiple farms, like maintenance supervisors or come from any other Iowa Select Farms facility, you must wear booties.#BeastMode #VamosConTodo
