Congratulations to Tanner Snyder on your Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leader Scholarship!
Tanner is a graduate of the St. Marys Community School District and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science Pre-Vet at Ellsworth Community College.
Agriculture “has impacted me because I grew up on a farm and I hope to one day take over the family farm,” explained Tanner. “My future goal would be to take over the family farm while raising livestock and also have a row crop operation.”

Tanner works part-time at a few sow farms. He is the son of Tom and Kris Snyder of Storm Lake, Iowa. Tanner shares that “the people [at Iowa Select Farms] are super nice and friendly to work with. They will help you with any task you ask and are always willing to teach and show you new ways of learning. It's a great company to be a part of!”
