Food and Fellowship with the Northwest Iowa Army National Guard

We’re always trying to find ways to show our love to our active and reserve military, veterans, and military families. As summer is about to close, we reflect on our efforts to make some special memories for our military families.

The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation was happy to meet up with the Northwest Iowa Army National Guard in one of our very own Homegrown Iowa communities.

Food brings families together, and meals can be an opportunity for connection, communication and fun. And what better food than our favorite, pork!? We hand-delivered nearly 10,000 coupon packets worth $35 each to Iowa service members, ROTC cadets, veterans groups, and survivors of the fallen. Thank you, soldiers, for your bravery and courage in protecting our freedom.
