Franklin County Community Food Pantry Appreciates National Ag Day Donation

It may be raining, but the weather can’t get us down, because we are donating pork loins to 12 different food pantries today. Plus, how can we be mad about rain?! Spring rain showers are a critical part of healthy soil, just one aspect of what makes Iowa such a special place for agriculture.

Our next stop in Hampton on this National Ag Day is at the Franklin County Community Food Pantry. Betty Springer, director of the pantry, says “it's always so great when Iowa Select Farms stops by because we know it's great meat they generously donate."
