Future Ag Leaders Scholarship 2017-18 Recipient: Anna Langel

Congratulations to Anna Langel on your Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leaders Scholarship! Anna is a 2015 graduate of Ogden High School currently studying Financial Administration at Des Moines Area Community College in Boone. She is the daughter of Nick and Mary Langel of Ogden and a part-time Iowa Select Farms employee.

“My future career goals are to first graduate from DMACC with a possibility of continuing at a 4-year university or getting a job in my career-related field,” Anna says. “Someday I would like to run a small business, or work in an accounting department for a company.”

“I choose to pursue a degree in the business field because there are always going to be new job opportunities,” Anna believes. “Also, I chose business because there are different options for jobs; you can do accounting, marketing, finance or management.”

Anna says she most appreciates the Iowa Select Farms’ “awesome benefits and family environment.”

Anna works in the accounting department for Iowa Select Farms out of the West Des Moines Office. Her father, Nick, is a finishing supervisor for Iowa Select Farms.
