“Agriculture has impacted my life by giving me more self-confidence,” said Allyson a Future Ag Leader scholarship recipient. “Now, I am capable and can conquer whatever life throws at me.”
Originally from a family farm near Clare, Iowa, Allyson’s parents Cort and Julie are contract feeders for Iowa Select Farms. Allyson is currently a freshman at Iowa State University studying business and design.
Outside of school, Allyson has gained many life skills that will assist her in wherever her future career takes her. She enjoys being active and leading projects that give back to her community.
One of Allyson’s favorite quotes is, “Happiness is not by chance, but by choice.” It reminds her to be happy but also helps her remain focused and hard working to achieve all that she can to succeed in her future career.
With the assistance of her Future Ag Leaders Scholarship, Allyson is well on her way to achieving her goals!
