“My family and I appreciate the benefits and hospitality that Iowa Select Farms gives their employees,” said Gage, a Future Ag Leader Scholarship recipient.
Three members of Gage’s family work at Iowa Select Farms. His mother, Samantha, and his stepfather, Ryan, are contractors, and his stepmother, Kaci, is a sow farm manager. Gage's family background in agriculture has given him a good foundation for achieving his goals.
“Growing up in a small-town environment surrounded by farming and having a family that works in the industry, I have been drawn to agriculture,” said Gage.

He is currently studying Business Administration at DMACC in Ankeny and plans to further his education in the future by obtaining his bachelor’s degree in business at Iowa State University.
“I have always been active growing up and always pushed myself to become more successful. Whether it be playing sports such as football and wrestling, or helping my parents out at hog sites, I have learned to work hard and strive for my goals in life,” said Gage. “This mentality is a key factor to achieving success in my life.”
We wish you all the best in your future endeavors, Gage. Keep up the goal-focused mentality!
