Future Ag Scholarship Winner - Megan
posted on Friday, October 29, 2021
“I love how Iowa Select Farms gives back to the community and shows their appreciation for their employees,” said Megan one of our Future Agriculture Leader scholarship recipients. “I’m especially grateful for the scholarship opportunities that have helped fund my education.”
In Megan and her family’s hometown of Iowa Falls, agriculture is everywhere and has helped to shape the community. Her father, Brian, is currently the Gene Transfer Center Supervisor and has worked for Iowa Select Farms for over 25 years. This has allowed Megan to enjoy many company events and understand what it means to be part of the Iowa Select Farms family.
Megan is currently a junior at Iowa State University in the graphic design program. She has always loved art and hopes to put her talents to use in her future career. There are many opportunities in the graphic design field, but she is currently interested in branding, packaging design or user experience. Her true joy comes from helping others bring their visions to life through art and design.
This joy will help Megan continue to live out her favorite quote from famous artist, Bob Ross who said, “It’s so important to do something every day that will make you happy.”
Keep creating, Megan! We wish you the best of luck in your future.
