Future Ag Scholarship Winner - Salvador

“Iowa Select Farms is a genuine company and offers so many benefits and generous deeds to their workers and families,” said Salvador, a Future Ag Scholarship winner from Clarion.
Salvador is currently attending Iowa State University and majoring in agricultural studies. His mother Rosalba works for Iowa Select Farms in the farrowing department. Receiving this scholarship from Iowa Select Farms is meaningful to both him and his family.
“It’s just another example of how much is offered and provided by Iowa Select to help families like mine,” he said.
Salvador is no stranger to working with pigs. He has worked in the swine industry since high school to help his family financially and develop his knowledge of the field.
When he graduates this spring, he plans to follow in his mother’s footsteps and work in the agriculture industry. The field has given him purpose and driven his desire to complete his degree.
Salvador’s guiding principle is “the dream doesn’t work unless you do.” It reminds him that nothing can be accomplished unless you work for it.
“Many people fantasize and dream about their future, and it can all be achieved with hard work and dedication,” he said.
Keep up the hard work Salvador, we are rooting for you!
