Future Ag Scholarship Winner-Zoe
posted on Monday, September 20, 2021
“I appreciate that Iowa Select Farms is Iowa-based, family-oriented and very generous”, said Zoe.
This acknowledgment of strong core values explains why Zoe has chosen to become a nurse. She will continue her education at DMACC this fall and hopes to eventually receive her bachelor's degree while working as an RN.
Zoe is very passionate about her work and her education. This passion for the nursing field fuels her and keeps her motivated to reach her goals. After earning her CNA license last year, she was able to meet and care for many great people. Her job as a nursing assistant was extremely rewarding and meaningful.
Originally from Indianola, Zoe and her family are connected to Iowa Select Farms where her dad works as a pilot. She is the first of many Future Ag Leadership Scholarship winners that we will highlight in the coming weeks.
Zoe’s favorite quote is ‘whoever is happy will make others happy too’. It seems that she has fully embraced this philosophy in her life. “I believe it is very important to spread happiness, especially in my field of work,” she said. “Being able to brighten even one person’s day is amazing.”
The world needs more people like Zoe! We wish you the best in all your future endeavors.
