Hansen Home for Hope Hosts Christmas Party

He sprung to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, and away they all flew, like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight.....Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Nearly 50 children were dropped off at the Hansen Home for Hope tonight allowing their parents an evening to shop for presents, enjoy a quiet dinner or run errands while their children enjoyed pizza, crafts, bingo and a special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Clause.

The Hansen Home for Hope was established in 2014 as an effort of the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation. One of the core areas of the Foundation is to support families impacted by childhood cancer through donations to Blank Children's Hospital and funding relief efforts at the Hansen Home for Hope like the annual Christmas party that we hosted this evening.

Thanks to the fantastic staff and volunteers at Children's Cancer Connection and our own team of pig-farmers-turned Santa's elves for making this evening special.
