Happy Retirement to Manny Batista

"Manny has been one of the most engaging and enjoyable people I have had the pleasure of working with," said Reuben Riniker, Sow Farm Manager, "his dedication to the animals and making new people feel welcome has helped Sow 7 become a team that feels like family." Manny Batista has been a Breeding Specialist with Iowa Select Farms since 2010. Reuben says Manny's attention to detail and expertise contributed significantly to the team. His character and work ethic will be missed around the barns. "Manny is an unheralded leader at Sow 7," said Chris Nydegger, Sow Farm Supervisor, "he set an example for others based on his work quality."

Aside from Manny's leadership, he was a source of fun and knowledge, often sharing his parlay wins and losses in sports betting as a big-time 49ers fan. Manny's team is celebrating his retirement this evening in Webster City. Thank you, Manny. We hope you continue to win big in your next life chapter of retirement!
