Haul Out Hunger 2022 Delivers to Greene County

Greene County Christian Action Resource Center - food pantry in Jefferson, IA received 2,592 servings of pork loin today to help provide for families in their community!

This pantry serves 125 families per month, and their list of 22 volunteers help keep the shelves stocked and assist clients to fill their orders.

Volunteer Shirley Haupert shared with us, “Meat contains so many beneficial minerals and vitamins that are crucial to our growth. Pork especially is very flexible on ways to prepare it.”

There are so many reasons pork is our favorite protein, and this is just one of them! We are glad our donation today will provide the essentials needed for these families to have a nutritious meal.
