Haul Out Hunger 2022 Delivers to Iowa Falls Lions Club

Another stop in Iowa Falls for Day 3!

The Iowa Falls Lions Club has about 25 volunteers who perform a wide variety of duties throughout the year. The food baskets they deliver to community members who are struggling to get by are the core of what their group does to support food insecurity, and the pork loins are an important part of that.

“The pork loin is by far the biggest protein factor in what we provide,” said volunteer Marian Gehrls.

The stories they shared with us about some of their deliveries to families in need were so touching, and it shows us, now more than ever, how much our donation of 2,592 servings of pork loin will help support families in the community.
