The Lenox Neighborhood Center serves 55 people with 5 volunteers who all help director Lisa Tiepelman continue to serve clients in the best way possible.

She told us, “Meat is at an all-time high price. Many clients are finding it difficult to afford food. Protein is a very important part of everyone’s diet. Our clients being able to get some of what they need relieves some of the stress the economy has put on them financially.”

2,160 servings of pork loin to this pantry today will help ease the burden many families are facing right now.

“The number of times our clients thank us before they leave and tell us what a difference getting food makes is enough to bring tears to my eyes,” said Lisa Tiepelman.

This is why we continue to give back to our Homegrown Iowa communities. Everyone deserves the resources and protein needed to live a healthy lifestyle.
