Teri O’Grady, who recently became director of this program, told us, “We were able to give your pork loins out to families in holiday baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I cannot tell you how many individuals left our food pantry in tears, grateful tears, because they did not have any food for the holidays. Your generosity has made a difference in the lives of our families.”
We understand protein and meat are very difficult for some families to come by right now, and our donation of 1,080 servings of pork loin today will hopefully make it a little less difficult for these families to provide a quality protein in their meals.
It is always special when we get to deliver pork loins to food pantries, but it makes it even more special when we get to hear the stories of just how many families these donations are reaching.
