“The higher cost of food is causing families to skip the needed meat and protein items, making the pantries try harder to fill in the gaps,” said volunteer Teresa Lansman.
We know the rates of inflation do not make food options easy on both families or food pantries. Our goal is to help fill that gap and make shopping choices easier for both families and food pantries. Our donation of 1,080 servings of pork loin today will assist this pantry and these families during this difficult time.
We had a great day traveling to food pantries throughout Ida, Crawford, Calhoun, Greene, and Carroll counties. Thanks to all of the food pantries for what they do to help serve their communities!
