This pantry serves roughly 150 people and is seeing their numbers continue to rise.

“Meats and proteins are vital to a balanced diet. With the current situation of vastly rising prices, it is much more difficult for our clients to purchase everything required to maintain a well-balanced diet,” said volunteer Kristi Jacobs.

If you’ve been following along with our posts, you know this is a common trend of what we are hearing from our food pantries.

We know it is difficult for families to purchase meat at such a high cost, so our donation of 1,944 servings of pork loin will help some families in this community have the protein they deserve in their meals!
