"We have never received anything this great as a donation to our library before," said Julia Frederick, Library Director at the Orient Library. "We are implementing STEM weeks next year where this cart will be greatly utilized."

It's National Library Week! To celebrate, we're beginning the deliveries of our Henry's Heroes STEM Library Carts. We know small-town libraries play a vital role in shaping the future of our young generations. We're proud to bring this cart to communities like Orient.

"We regularly serve 132 kids from in and around the Orient community," said Julia. "It's great for us to have new and exciting items for our kids to be able to interact with."

Each year, the Henry's Heroes program seeks out opportunities to support our youngest Iowans. This year, we'll be delivering 50 STEM Library Carts to rural communities across Iowa. Our STEM carts are packed with various toys and kits that encourage structured and organic play, grounded in coherent knowledge and skills that prepare young learners for the challenges of the 21st century.
