Henry's Heroes Comfort Kits Help in Difficult Situations

"The calls that we go on that involve children are the most difficult," said
Eagle Grove Police Department Officer Aaron Carda. "These kits will help make those calls a little less difficult for the children involved."

The Eagle Grove Police Department recently received 15 Henry's Heroes Law Enforcement Comfort Kits from Iowa Select Farms and the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation. Comfort Kits provide law enforcement an additional tool in their diverse policing responsibilities.

Henry’s Heroes Law Enforcement Comfort Kits allow law enforcement officers to provide comforting items to children in distress. Compact in design, the kits are designed to be portable and easily tossed into an officer’s cruiser as part of their standard equipment.

Each compact kit includes two children-sized blankets, tissues, pacifiers, lip balm, two stuffed animals, activity kits and a Thomas the Train toy.
