Henry's Heroes Helps Union County

The Union County Sheriff’s Department and the city of Creston Police each received 15 Henry’s Heroes Law Enforcement Comfort Kits from the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation.

These thoughtful Comfort Kits allow law enforcement officers to ease the emotions of children and families in stressful situations. Items in these kits range from blankets and crayons to toys and stuffed animals with children in mind, including Thomas The Train, Henry’s favorite toy.

Stored easily in squad cars, these kits are always ready for immediate use.

Henry’s Heroes Comfort Kits are inspired by Deb and Jeff Hansen’s grandson, Henry Johnson. Every year on his birthday, Henry’s mother Natalie selects a new element of the Henry’s Heroes. Henry turned 2 in 2020 and Natalie added Law Enforcement Comfort Kits to the program.
