Ignite the Spirit Project for West Central Valley FFA

We're so proud of the West Central Valley FFA Chapter for making a big difference in the lives of 55 people in need this holiday season.

The FFA members participated in the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation's Ignite the Spirit Program, an extension of Operation Christmas Meal. Ignite the Spirit offers student FFA and 4-H organizations two cases of pork loins and a $250 check to develop a project aimed at alleviating hunger, locally.

The FFA members worked together to create holiday gift baskets that were then donated through their food pantry. They used the pork loins donated by Iowa Select Farms as the main dish and purchased food items to complete the meal with the $250 from the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation.
