What they say is true… Nothing compares to a day at the Iowa State Fair! We had the absolute best time hosting our employees, contractors, their family and friends for a fun-filled day off. The day kicked off with an ice cream social enjoying four different flavors of Bauder’s ice cream, live music, balloon art and face painting. Then, it was time to explore the fair and enjoy a scavenger hunt, free cup of watermelon, popcorn pig on a stick, pork chop on a stick and of course, a delicious dinner at the Iowa Pork Tent. We couldn’t have asked for a better day or weather! For those of you that stayed home to take care of the pigs, we’ll see you in your purple shirts next Friday!
