John is currently pursuing a degree in law enforcement by attending Southwest Community College and then moving on to Simpson College to complete his bachelor’s degree. His desire to serve and help others has led him along this path.
John is the son of Mike and Shelly. Mike is a farm manager for Iowa Select Farms. Growing up in a rural community has taught John the values of hard work and devotion to a career. He has helped farmers and seen the reward of their hard work through all the food that is produced. Farming has great impact on a community and its importance transforms the world.
John’s goal is to become a trooper for the state patrol. This career choice would allow him to make an impact on an Iowa community as well as the state. He believes that “the duty of law enforcement officers is to protect and help people of all walks of life”. This belief has pushed him toward the law enforcement field.
