We're thrilled to announce that the Kanawha Public Library has received one of the 50 STEM carts donated by the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation as part of our Henry's Heroes program.

"With these games and tools, we're creating exciting activities to expand our reach and make a lasting impact, particularly in summer and afterschool programs," shared Christine Guthmiller, Director of the Kanawha Public Library.

This library may be small, but it's mightily serving its community. Through our summer reading program, Christine says they regularly engage 25-30 students, mainly children aged 5-9. Additionally, they offer afterschool programs, monthly challenges, and numerous other opportunities to involve children in our community.

We hope the addition of the Henry's Heroes STEM Cart will help to amplify their efforts.
