Loren is the wife of Myles who is a low voltage IT Technician for Iowa Select Farms. She is currently pursuing her degree in medical dosimetry from John Patrick University.
Loren is a radiation therapist at the John Stoddard Cancer Center for Unity Point in Des Moines. She would like to use the foundations that she has gained through her current career to further her education and knowledge in cancer treatment.
Dosimetry is developing a plan to deliver a prescribed radiation dose to a patient. Although Loren will not be working directly with patients each day, she will “still have the accomplishment of knowing that she constructed the best possible plan for the patient and help save lives”.
Loren’s current profession and her future calling provide her a unique opportunity to help many people conquer cancer.
