Megan is currently attending Iowa State University to pursue her degree in graphic design. She dreams of working in a bigger city where she can help people bring their ideas to life. She enjoys challenging herself with each project she completes.
It could be said that Megan grew up being around ambitious people. She is from Iowa Falls-an agriculturally based community- and says that farming requires hard work year-round. She is the daughter of Brian and Mary. Brian works for Iowa Select Farms as a GTC supervisor. Megan appreciates all the opportunities that were available to her in her community and through the showing of llamas in 4-H.
Becoming a graphic artist would allow Megan to tie her past experiences and passions together. “I have learned to appreciate the beauty of the Midwest and the ambitious people who make it such a special place.” She would like to help companies advertise and grow, especially if they are based in Iowa. Megan explains, “It is important to promote the things Iowa is proud of, such as agriculture.”
