Morman Trail FFA Ignites the Spirit

Mormon Trail FFA found multiple ways to give back to their community this holiday season, and we were glad to have them a part of it!

The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation's Project: Ignite the Spirit works in coordination with our annual Operation Christmas Meal program. This year, we made a stop in Humeston, Iowa to hand out boneless pork loins. The Mormon Trail FFA chapter volunteered their time to come out on an early and cold morning to help pass out pork loins.

Along with that, they also took part in Project: Ignite the Spirit. The Foundation donates two cases of boneless pork loins, thermal tote bags and $500 to participating student-based organizations. This group chose to use their materials to package meals with the pork loin, potatoes, vegetables, rolls and dessert. They distributed these meals to local families in need.
