CGD HSOne of the many ways we support our Homegrown Iowa communities is through our connections in local school districts. We are celebrating National Ag Day all day long by donating pork loins to food pantries. The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School operates a fantastic food pantry that helps many families within the district.

"We are so grateful of Iowa Select Farms for their continuous support of our school district," said Erin Halverson, counselor at CGD High School. "Being able to provide additional assistance to our families makes such a impact."

Clarion is home to many of our pig farms, which not only produce a healthy and nutritious protein but provide hundreds of people with great jobs and make the community stronger. Clarion has farmers of all areas, including pigs, cattle, corn, soybeans, eggs and chickens—talk about agriculture!
