National Ag Day-Stop #6 Grundy Center

We are here in Grundy Center with a very special guest, none other than Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship Secretary, Mike Naig!

Secretary Mike Naig will be joining us on the next few stops we make as we celebrate the importance of agriculture in Iowa.

We are donating 300 pounds of ground pork to the Grundy County Operation Threshold
.
“We support 35-50 families a month on average. We give them complete food boxes with items such as cereal, soup, pasta, and 7-10lbs of meat, just to name a few.”, shared Jodi Rowe. She also showed the fresh produce section where they store fresh fruit, vegetables, and dairy.
