Hardin county is home to 191 Iowa Select Farms employees, and we could not be prouder to support them and the communities that house our farms! We are here at the Ruth Project Food Pantry to supply them with more than 550 pounds of ground pork and some Easter hams.
Reverend Marlys Williams runs Ruth Projectfood pantry and has for the last 10 years. She and her team serve over 100 families a month. They saw a gap in the community of Iowa Falls and a need for a food pantry and felt called to serve.
Today, Iowa Select Farms donated 4,280 pounds of ground pork to communities that are home to the hard-working farmers and producers of Iowa.
We thank all of the Iowans who work in agriculture and keep the world fueled and fed. A special thank you to the Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Naig, for being with us on these deliveries today!
