Next Stop: Laurens-Marathon Community Schools

It's a great day to be a charger! Our next stop on our Power Snack deliveries is Laurens-Marathon Community School District in Laurens.

Throughout the upcoming school year, 400 students within the Laurens-Marathon Community School District will receive Power Snack coupon booklets four different times throughout the school year, for a total of 400 coupons. Inside, students will find a $5 coupon for deli ham and a $3 coupon for a loaf of whole wheat bread. The coupons can be used at most local grocery and convenience stores.

"With a large percentage of our district being eligible for free or reduced lunch, the Power Snacks continue to be important to us," said Tony Oehlertz, Principal of Laurens-Marathon Community School District. "It gives our students comfort both in and out of the classroom."

Additionally, we left 200 pork snack sticks with the school to provide immediate hunger relief, allowing students to focus on their learning in the classroom.
