Thanks to Iowa Select Farms and the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation, at-risk children in rural Iowa received a Power Snack™ kit containing a $5 coupon for deli ham and a $3 coupon for a loaf of whole wheat bread—the ingredients needed to make their own “Power Snacks” at home.

With 1 in 8 Iowa children facing food insecurity, Iowa Select Farms, under the leadership of the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation, are driving the change to help end childhood hunger. Under the Power Snack™ Teacher Supply Kits program, Iowa Select Farms Employees will be giving 200 ham and bread coupons, along with 200 pork sticks, to teachers, such as Makaela Hoffman, for distribution to their students.
