Thanks to all of our employees who volunteered their Friday night to grill and serve food at the Iowa Pork Tent at the Iowa State Fair. Operated by the Iowa Pork Producers Association, they rely on over 900 producer volunteers from across the state to head to Des Moines to staff the Iowa Pork Tent, all in an effort to provide fairgoers with a state fair favorite—chop dinners, BBQ pork sandwiches, pork burgers, bacon cheddar brat burgers, and of course, the pork chop-on-a-stick. And it’s a mutual love and adoration as the Iowa Pork Tent continues to be the Iowa State Fair’s #1 food concession by volume.

Revenue from tent’s 11-day sales go towards critical areas of public policy, government relations and helping producers of all shapes and sizes thrive in Iowa. Iowa producers care for nearly one-third of all of the hogs raised in the United States and agriculture drives the Iowa economy. We’re proud to support the Iowa Pork Producers Association and give back to the industry that has given us so much. #billionpounds
