“We have been able to provide Power Snack coupons for hundreds of students and families in need over the past few years,” said Dennis McCartan, counselor at Carroll Community School District. “The families are extremely grateful and humbled by this act of kindness.”

As the Power Snack program starts up again for 2022, The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation is honored to now feel strong relationships with the schools in our Homegrown Iowa communities.

After ten years of this program, it is a great feeling to walk into a school and instantly be known as the ones who provide the ham and bread coupons. The smiles that light up as we provide the schools and students with the Power Snack coupons is what makes this program so special and impactful.

Coupons accounting for 13,000 pounds of deli ham and 13,000 loaves of whole wheat bread will supply families with many healthy and protein-packed meals as they reach their first extended break from school. We know our school employees work hard to ensure their students are supported, and the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation is honored to be a small part of supporting students and families in our Homegrown Iowa communities.Employees taking coupon totes
