Power Snack 2022 Delivers to

“As a former classroom teacher, I have seen firsthand how excited our students are to receive the Power Snack coupons,” said Andrea Gurney, principal at Schleswig Community School District. “Being in a rural community, I appreciate that our local convenience store can be used to redeem the coupons and families don’t have to travel to provide a meal when finances are low. The Power Snack program makes a difference for many in our district.”
The Deb and Jeff Hansen is always honored to provide schools in our Homegrown Iowa communities with Power Snack coupons, but it is comments like these that remind us why this program is so important for a large number of students and families.
As farmers from rural communities, we understand the importance of supporting local and how nice it is to not have to leave your own community for something you need. The Power Snack coupons are accepted at major local grocery stores such as HyVee and Fareway, and they are also accepted in smaller stores like Dollar General which may be the only source of groceries in a rural, small town.
$1,600 in deli ham coupons were delivered to Schleswig Community School District today, and we hope the students are just as excited to receive them today and throughout the school year as they have been in the past.
