Power Snack 2022 Stops at Eagle Grove Elementary

“The Power Snack coupon books help provide our students with fresh protein at essentially no cost to them,” shared McKristie Willard, Success Coordinator at Eagle Grove Elementary. “It takes a worry off both students and their families.”

Easing the burden of rising food costs at the grocery stores for families across Iowa is a primary goal of the Power Snack program. The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation is passionate about Iowans having access to quality protein to support growth, development and learning. This is why we were honored to deliver 1,600 deli ham and whole wheat bread coupons to Eagle Grove Elementary today. These coupons will provide students and families with four $8 coupons for a pound of deli ham and four $3 coupons for a loaf of whole wheat bread.

We hope these coupons not only bring a smile to the faces of many students and families but also a sense of comfort, strength and relief as they experience time away from school.
