Power Snack Stops in Ida Grove

Throughout the 2020-2021 school year, 600 students in the OABCIG School District will receive Power Snack deli ham and whole wheat bread coupon booklets. Along with delicious and easy recipe ideas, the Protein Power! coupon booklets include a $5 coupon for deli ham and $3 coupon for whole wheat bread--the resources children need to make twelve nutritious ham sandwiches. 

In total, the 2,400 Power Snack coupons + 200 Pork Sticks donated to OABCIG Community Schools will provide at-risk students with 28,800 meals. 

Power Snack coupons are typically distributed prior to extended weekends or holiday breaks when children go without critical breakfast, lunch and snack meal programs.
