Power Snack Stops in West Bend

"The Power Snack program helps our students and families at West Bend-Mallard by providing them another option for food in their household," said Amanda Schmidt with the West Bend-Mallard Community School District. "Families are able to take advantage of the bread and ham that they can get for free at the grocery store. With these free products, they are able to make several meals for their family using nutritious products."

Howling for happiness are the Wolverines of WBM Schools with their Power Snack coupon booklets from the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation. Inside is a $5 coupon for fresh deli ham and a $3 coupon for a loaf of whole wheat bread. As a snack to keep hungry minds at ease, we also stocked them up with 200 pork sticks to increase focus in the classroom. 600 coupon booklets will have a positive impact on the students and families in the West Bend-Mallard community.

Just about half way done with our fourth day of Power Snack, yet somehow it's like we're just getting started!
