Scholarship Winner Spotlight-Michael

“Throughout high school, taking history classes has motivated me to keep learning those important lessons that have shaped who we are today,” said Michael Bottorff, recipient of an Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leaders Scholarship.

Today, Michael is studying history at North Iowa Area Community College with plans to earn a bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate in education at either the University of Northern Iowa or the University of Iowa. His dream is to be a history professor.

His dad, Eric, is an IT Senior Field Technician for Iowa Select Farms. The Bottorff family also hobby farms at their home in Hampton.

Congratulations to Michael on all his future endeavors!
