Scholarship Winner Spotlight-Zoe

“Agriculture has always been a huge part of my life, as I grew up in a small farming community and recognize the commitment farmers have to feed people,” said Zoe, a Future Ag Leader Scholarship Winner. “I’ve grown a deep appreciation for the pork industry and am proud to live where I do and be surrounded by agriculture.”

Zoe is currently attending DMACC to attain her associate’s nursing degree with plans to complete her BSN at the University of Iowa. She enjoys caring for people and is driven to make the most of her educational experience.

Zoe is from Indianola, and her parents are Bob and Alisa. Her father works in administration for Iowa Select Farms. Her favorite memories include attending Iowa Select Farms Family Days at the Iowa State Fair.

“I love that entire experience, and it allows me to meet other employees and their families.”
