Spring Surprise for The Children's Cancer Connection

 Delivery services are headed out to homes as far northwest as Lyon county and southeast as Lee county to leave these bright and fun surprise boxes on the doorsteps of 700 very special families.

Always thinking about what we can do for these little warriors, this time around we’re helping the families of Children's Cancer Connection celebrate spring with a gardening kit care package, courtesy of the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation and Iowa Select Farms.

Kids can use windowsill greenhouse to start these easy-to-grow flowers—zinnias, marigolds and daisies. We’ve included pots to decorate, gardening gloves and towels and tons of goodies to make these little gardens grow.

Big thanks to the West Des Moines and Waukee Silver Cord Program volunteers and the amazing team at Children’s Cancer Connection for helping us assemble the care packages.
