Students at Des Moines Public Schools Receive Pork Loins for Christmas

During our Operation Christmas Meal deliveries in the Des Moines metro area, the team of Elf Jenn and Jen made a stop at the central campus of Des Moines Public Schools. Community School and Student Support Services Coordinator Sonya Smith says they operate several programs aimed at helping families within the public school system, including in-school food pantries.

The delivery was also memorable for our driver, Duane. He navigated the schools loading area like a champ.

We delivered 20 cases of five-pound boneless pork loins for their student families—240 pork loins to FILL THAT EMPTY ‘FRIDGE!
