As we approach Thanksgiving, we’d like to show our gratitude to employees and contractors with the mainstay of this holiday tradition—a turkey!
With these turkeys, we also send our heartfelt gratitude. We know it takes very special people to be farmers to breed, birth, wean, feed, move, treat, haul and provide support for the nearly three million pigs in our care on any given day. Oftentimes the requirements of this care impacts time spent with friends and loved ones.
We’d also like to thank all of the drivers, managers and supervisors who helped us get these delivered out to our warehouses and farms.
It’s been another unprecedented year for all of us. We've welcomed more employees and contractors through our growth, strengthened our infrastructure and improved our biosecurity and overall herd health.
New initiatives across SelectCare— in animal care, people care, environmental care and community care have made us a better company. And through our enthusiastic drive to improve performance and keep improving, we’ll again close out another year much stronger than when we started.
None of this would be possible without our amazing people. With a heartfelt thank you, we wish all of our families a HAPPY THANKSGIVING! #HomegrownIowa
