The pantry will supplement existing hunger relief efforts by offering emergency resources like snacks, ready-to-eat meals and Henry's Heroes supplies like diapers, personal hygiene products and other necessary children's care items.

Local residents and Iowa Select Farms employees Rachael Waters (Sow 14 Manager), Gerhard Badenhorst (Sow 4 Manager), Chris Nydegger (Sow Supervisor) and Mario Orozco Hernandez (Sow 4 Asst Farrowing Department Head) will help care for and keep the pantry stocked.

"I think this is a great addition to the community," said Nydegger, sow supervisor and a longtime resident of Webster City. "The pantries are bright and colorful and placed in areas that are highly trafficked by kids and their families. They're hopefully going to provide some relief for families when they need it most."

Kathy Vaughn, ACE Director and Terry Sponheimer, Office Manager, were on hand to help unveil the pantry. Amid COVID-19, the ACE food pantry has transitioned to a drive through service the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 11AM-1PM. ACE is located at 1440 E Second Street in Webster City.
