Tiny pantry, big hearts

Up to Lyle, Minnesota to donate pork loins to the food pantry at Our Savior Lutheran’s Church! This teeny tiny pantry has a lot of heart and a lot of support from the local boy scouts and the community through many fundraisers. Fifteen families receive food from this pantry and according to Jackie Holst, food pantry coordinator, the community really rallies to show their support and make donations whenever they can. “People really love the pork loins,” she says. “Meat is always appreciated because we rarely get donations like this.” Delivery teams from the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation and Iowa Select Farms have been making their way up to Lyle every time they work their way through the Mitchell and Howard County area.
