Meet Jamie Ragland. Jamie has been the outreach specialist for the UDO in Webster City for four years now and does a fantastic job running the food pantry. With a small work force of only two people, what they lack in size, they make up for in heart. At the pantry, Jamie says that families can come in every three months to stock up on what they need, depending on their family size.

“We see around 50 families a month, 150 individuals total. But in the winter months we’ll see even more, bringer the number closer to 150 families,” said Jamie.

“The community really helps support the pantry. We receive a lot of donations from community members and churches and we get some meat donations from Custom Meats,” said Jamie. “We really appreciate the pork donation, it will help us feed a lot of families and provide good protein for them.”
